  Skeleton Vessel  (2008)

 8 ½ inches high by 6 ½ inches wide
Douglas Fir: turned, sandcarved.

These piece is a recent piece from my Bones of the Tree series.  All of the "flesh" has been removed except for four vertical bands and some flesh at the base.
